Dedicated to Advocacy and Empowerment
Our services include investigation of complaints, resolution of problems and protection of resident rights. We also provide information/training to residents, the general public, and nursing home staff, on long-term care issues such as quality of life and care, selection of a nursing home and sources of payment for care. All services provided are free and confidential. Anyone who may have concerns regarding long-term care or residents in a long-term care home may contact us.

A Voice for Vanderburgh County
Fighting for Resident Rights Since 1980
VOICES is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to protecting the rights of residents in long-term care homes through advocacy and empowerment. We investigate complaints, resolve problems, and provide free, confidential information to residents, their families, and facility staff.
Our Team
Meet Our Dedicated Advocates
Our organization is composed of a passionate Board of Directors and state-certified Ombudsman staff. Led by Board President Becky Kasha, our team is specifically dedicated to speaking up for our neighbors in long-term care homes and fighting for their rights. We are the only agency in the area with state-certified Ombudsman staff focused on investigating complaints, resolving problems, and protecting resident rights.
